2006
FOOD DRIVE
Our
annual fall Food Drive raised 3,275 lbs. of food, the
most ever. Our Chesapeake office raised 2,686 lbs. benefiting
the Foodbank
of Southeastern Virginia and Jo-Kell donated 20 additional
turkeys during the annual Mayflower Marathon. Marty Kelly,
President of Jo-Kell, is shown here with Mike Arlo, of
106.9FM The Fox, host of the donation event. Mike Arlo
sent out thanks to all of Jo-Kell on the air! Our Jacksonville
office raised 589 lbs. benefiting America's
Second Harvest. A great time was had by all, but most
importantly, we were able to feed over 1,500 families!

MARCH
MADNESS 2005 FOOD DRIVE
Our
March Madness Food Drive accepted as many food items as
each employee brought in each day. Each food item was rewarded
with 1 raffle ticket. At the end of every day, 2 raffle
tickets were a drawn and the winners each received $25.
On Fridays, the prize was doubled to $50! Everyone had a
great time, but most significantly, we filled our CEO's
office with 770 lbs. of food to benefit the Foodbank
of Southeastern Virginia. |

STRAW
POLL 2004 FOOD DRIVE
Our
October drive included a presidential election straw pole
(1 food item = 1 vote) where employees could vote for their
candidate as often as they liked. The competition was fierce,
but in the end the most important factor was that we ended
up with a truckload full of food for the Foodbank
of Southeastern Virginia. |
