In 2004 Jo-Kell received the Top Cop Award for An Outstanding Corporation from the Greater Hampton Roads Crime Lines. Top Cop Awards are given annually to a citizen, a corporation and an organization that have made an extraordinary contribution to the safety of Hampton Roads.

The Chesapeake Crime Prevention Council (CCPC) is a non-profit organization located in Chesapeake, Virginia. Working hand-in-hand with the Chesapeake Police Department and the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office to educate and inform the citizens of Chesapeake about crime, crime prevention and Neighborhood Watch/Block Security Program. Jo-Kell is very active with the CCPC. Some of our contributions have included providing paper products, tray stands and liquid fuel for their annual banquet, cooking and taking care of the volunteers for fundraisers, volunteering at their Annual Picnic “Kids Night Out” and of course, monetary donations.
