Icore’s Entraco Sea-FROST™
now MIL-PRF Approved

Jo-Kell Inc. announces the MIL-PRF approval of Icore’s
Entraco Sea-FROST™.
It
is a performance spec that supersedes the current Mil-Spec.
Entraco Sea-FROST™ conduits and fittings have protected
the DDG ships and their crew for the last 10 years so it
was not surprising they passed the recent new environmental
and mechanical requirements as well.
NAVSEA
05W43 (FORMERLY SEA 62E), the technical warrant holder for
EMI Control, EMC, EMP and RADHAZ for ships and submarines,
has conducted a technical review of the test results for
MIL-PRF-24758A Conduit System Product lines from ICORE International.
Based on that review, it is NAV SEA 05W43’s assessment
that these systems comply with the MIL-PRF-24758A requirements
and are considered acceptable to use for EMI/EMP control
on topside installments. Only rigid conduit and conduit
systems that meet the performance requirements of MIL-PRF-24758A
are approved for topside use in new ship construction, new
installations, future repairs, modernization conversion,
and overhaul.

Specification. MIL-PRF-24758A helps to save lives and protect
valuable data transmission. The systems operate under very
dangerous environments and extreme conditions, 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
