Chesapeake, VA (February 22, 2013) – Over 3,000 people took a chilly afternoon swim Saturday February 2nd for the 21st Annual Polar Plunge for the Special Olympics of Virginia. Participants set a new record, raising over a million dollars for the year-round program, which provides athletic training and competition events for individuals of all ages with intellectual disabilities.

Jo-Kell Employees Raise Funds for Wounded Warriors

Jacksonville, FL (September 11, 2012) – Jo-Kell Inc., a local electrical distribution and engineering company raised over $500 for the Wounded Warrior Project’s 8k run Saturday, September 8. The race was to raise awareness and funds to support the Wounded Warrior Project™ (WWP), a non-profit organization that serves military service members who incurred service-connected wounds, injuries, or illnesses and their families. Over 1,200 runners participated in the 8K run.
